Hershey’s Record-breaking String?

I don’t know the world record is for Longest Paper String Attached to a Hershey’s Kiss (or even if such a record exists), but I’m pretty certain this one is the winner:

We had a kiss in our bag that had a 20-inch paper string attached to it! I conveniently placed a normal kiss, with the paper string barely sticking out of the foil wrapper, next to it for comparison.
Crazy, I’m telling you. I should get the Consumerist on this.
I was wondering that same question if such a record is even real. I also have a string probably just as long and i saved that little kiss as well.
I’m not sure if yours is a regular milk chocolate kiss, and if so then i’m sure yours is a record for sure. But mine on the other hand is of the Kiss with Almonds variety. I wonder if these are actually worth anything?
I hope they’re worthless, Michael, because we threw ours away some time ago.
But if they are worth something, best of luck with yours. (Oh, and yes, ours was regular milk chocolate.)
