When I started #MyYearofConcerts last year, I made a list of bands I wanted to see — my bucket list. It was all bands/artists that I had stupidly never seen despite having many chances in my younger days.
The Rolling Stones were right near the top of that list, so it was a thrill to finally see them live last night in Seattle. Even better, Sean joined me!!
The craziest thing of all is how amazingly active Mick Jagger was at 80 years old. Running, dancing, moving all over the stage…almost constant motion. My jaw was on the ground for most of the show. I kept thinking, “Age is just a number.”
Joe Bonomassa was the opener. I know the name but not his music, and damn, he was really good.
Super fun night with my son, checking off a bucket list item.
