A strange text came in when Cari and I were in Hawaii a couple months ago. It didn’t have a name/contact attached, and I didn’t recognize the number. It was from the 509 area code, so I thought it might be someone local that I met at some Tri-Cities event.
The message was saying this person wanted to meet up me, but since I wasn’t at home and wasn’t sure who the person was, I couldn’t just flat out say, “Sorry, I’m in Hawaii right now.” You don’t tell that to someone unless you really know the person well.
So, over the course of 90 minutes, I had a little bit of fun with it … and eventually found out it was a total stranger. Ha!
