Two weeks from tonight, we’ll have finished our first full day in the new McGee household. I really have a lot that I want to say about this … primarily to make sure my friends and family understands why this house means so much to me … but thoughts are still formulating. It’s hard to put into the right words, y’know? Because it’s not the obvious reasons.
Anyhow, took both kids over to see the new place today and it looks pretty much finished at this point. Carpets are in, fencing is all done and — as this close-up of the front shows — the exterior painting is done, the address numbers are up, the exterior lights are installed and everyone thinks it looks really great.
